Multiple nominees Rüfüs Du Sol, Flume (featuring MAY-A), Baker Boy, Amyl and The Sniffers, and Vance Joy lead the line-up of performers for the 2022 ARIA Awards, set to take place next Thursday (Nov. 24) in Sydney.

Also confirmed to perform on the night are Budjerah, Casey Donovan, Dami Im, Jessica Mauboy, Kye, Thelma Plum, Tones And I, Peking Duk, and the gala’s co-host, Natalie Imbruglia.

This year’s cast of artists will pay musical tribute to several greats of Australia’s music community who we lost during the course of the year.

Olivia Newton-John will be remembered with a medley of fan-favorites “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” “Xanadu” and “You’re The One That I Want,” featuring Imbruglia, Kye, Peking Duk and Tones And I, who is musical director of the tribute.

“It’s an honour to musically direct the Olivia Newton-John tribute for the ARIA Awards this year,” says Tones (real name Toni Watson) in a statement, “and it has been such a great experience working with executive producers John Leahy and Joel Farland.”

Meanwhile, Budjerah, Jessica Mauboy and Thelma Plum will recognise Uncle Archie Roach with his ARIA Award-nominated number, “One Song,” while Casey Donovan and Dami Im will each perform a solo salute to the Seekers’ late singer Judith Durham, with “I’ll Never Find Another You” and “The Carnival Is Over.”

“We’re so excited to have this group of incredible Australian artists showcasing their music on the ARIA Awards stage here and around the world,” comments ARIA CEO, Annabelle Herd.

“We are also honoured to celebrate the legacy of homegrown superstars Uncle Archie Roach, Judith Durham and Olivia Newton-John with moving and joyful tributes that will be nothing short of spectacular,” Herd adds. “One week to go!”

In the meantime, the ARIA Week program continues to roll out, details of which are published now published in full.
