The Push has announced the latest mentees for its Music Industry Mentor Program.

The Push has announced the latest mentees for its Music Industry Mentor Program.

Now in its sixth round, the program places 18-25 year old workers inside music industry companies in a bid to remove barriers to entry and address skills shortages across the sector.

This round’s host organisations are Live Nation, Frontier Touring, TEG, Untitled Group, Fuzzy Operations, and Moshtix.

  • Shelley Dickson – Event Operations Assistant, Fuzzy Entertainment | Mentored by Hayden Lenord, Event & Logistics Manager
  • Hayley Chau – Client & Event Management Assistant, Moshtix | Mentored by Loren Scuderi, Senior Client Manager
  • Molly Milner – Sponsorship Assistant, Live Nation | Mentored by Lucy Morris, Commercial Director – Media & Sponsorships
  • Hannah Hopwood – VIP Assistant, Live Nation | Mentored by Kat Murphy, VIP Manager
  • Sophie King – Tour Operations & Ticketing Assistant, Frontier Touring | Mentored by Chloe Morgan, Operations Manager – Tour Operations & Ticketing
  • Daniel Stojkovski – VIP Assistant, TEG | Mentored by Charlie Sennitt, Business Development Manager

According to The Push, 90 percent of participants from the program have secured paid work in the music industry within six to 12 months of finishing their placements.

“A healthy and sustainable music industry requires early career pathways that don’t depend on unpaid work,” The Push CEO Kate Duncan said in a statement.
