Adam Lambert
The Original High
(WMA) Out June 12

American singer/songwriter Adam Lambert is set to release his third studio album The Original High on June 122015. The album is produced by Max Martin and Shellback, both who have worked with artists like Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Pink. The album's first track and lead single, Ghost Town so far has seen its share of success on the charts, currently at #50 on the TMN Hot 100,#46 on the ARIA Singles chart and #24 on the Shazam 100.The first new material from Lambert in a while, The Original High is likely to perform exceptionally well and will no doubt build on the hype of last year’s Queen + Adam Lambert arena tour of Australia.

Tame Impala
Currents
(MOD/UMA) Out June 17

Currents is the third studio album for Tame Impala, and the follow-up to 2012’s wildly successful Lonerism. While the album’s songwriting sees lead singer and songwriter Kevin Parker meditating on the theme of personal transformation, he described the sound as being "a bit more minimal this time" in a recent interview with triple j.Speaking to NME last month about lead single ‘Cause I’m A Man, Parker described the album as “follow[ing] the progression of someone feeling like they are becoming something else. They're becoming the kind of person they thought they'd never become."

Fans can expect some surprises from the stalwarts of psych, with Parker stating that one of the tracks, Less I Know The Better"shouldn’t be on a Tame Impala album because it has this dorky, white disco funk". While the success of Lonerism may be a hard act to follow, expect more big reverb-y riffs, psychedelic 70’s sounds andstadium rock sing-along melodies from these festival favourites.
