Meet Social State Entertainment

Meet Social State Entertainment

PRESS RELEASE:

Introducing Social State Entertainment. A new, full service national venue booking agency, launched by music industry and venue veterans, James Power and Jesse Barbera.

SOCIAL STATE ENTERTAINMENT will create one point of call for artists, managers and touring agents looking for high quality service and knowledge that will drive both revenue and attendance for venues and artists, while creating a better event experience for the patron.

After much discussion with both venues, promoters and agents, Power and Barbera found there was a definite need to create an agency that was both efficient and personalised in its operations.

Power explains, “It’s clear there is a gap to fill for strategic marketing support and a need for cleaner, more streamlined administration process for all sizes of shows and venues. Under the new arrangement our agents will have more time to book acts, and there will be an increase in the speed and quality of administration support.”

SOCIAL STATE ENTERTAINMENT will offer something new to the industry in a number of ways;

  • A tailored booking service that maintains and supports each venue’s distinct identity and branding;
  • Each venue will retain their individual booking agents and separate calendars that are integrated into a streamlined booking process;
  • Increased marketing strength via the sharing of resources, overheads, experience and support

As well as this, the company will offer venue content creation – delivering a dynamic array of events unique to each venue – featuring both local and international touring artists, themed nights, trivia, festivals, lifestyle events and functions.

SOCIAL STATE ENTERTAINMENT will be the agents for the following venues:

Black Bear Lodge, Brisbane

Brightside, Brisbane

Cantina, St. Kilda

El Grotto, Scarborough
