LANDR offers affordable solution to music distribution with new platform

Audio production platform LANDR is expanding with a new distribution service, allowing artists to release and sell their music online at a fraction of the traditional price.

At US$1 a month, LANDR will offer a creator-friendly and affordable option for artists to get tracks on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal, Pandora and other leading stores.

Users keep 100% of their royalties and revenue, with no hidden fees or extra services associated with adding singles or albums to streaming stores.

The listener data dashboard offers key insights and will feature next-day trends for Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify. It will alsocrunch streaming, location, downloads, and revenue data to help creators decide what to do next to promote themselves and their work.

“LANDR is committed to help musicians focus on creating new content, so we’ve spent a lot of attention on making our new digital distribution features easy to use and self-guiding, with real DIY artists in mind,” said LANDR CEO Pascal Pilon.

“We now have a platform where musicians can master tracks, collaborate with their peers and release their music easily, in a couple of minutes, at a price that actually makes sense for them.”

The new platform willcompete directly with experienced music distribution heavyweights including Tunecore, ReverbNation, DistroKid, and CD Baby.

LANDR’s diverse community includes labels Warner Music Group and Atlantic Records, renowned songwriterDiane Warren, rising indie act MachineDrum, and electronic legendsTiga and Richie Hawtin, plus many more.

LANDR will continue to add new features to the distribution serviceover the coming months.
