KINGS CROSS VENUES TO COME TOGETHER FOR A CELEBRATION OF SYDNEY’S NIGHTLIFE

Seven of Kings Cross’s most beloved nightlife venues will join forces for MEET ME IN THE CROSS , a full precinct party on Saturday, July 1 presented by Keep Sydney Open .

Sydney’s late night capital will come alive with a spectrum of music and dance across Kings Cross Hotel, The World Bar, Candys Apartment, Potts Point Hotel (formerly Kit & Kaboodle ), Crane Bar, Jangling Jack’s and Sweethearts Rooftop.

In the spirit of the best times of The Cross, one $30 ticket will grant attendees entry to all participating venues, and other deals at some of the awesome food vendors and traders, throughout the night. Punters will be able to bounce between venues, with the good vibes continuing until 3am.

MEET ME IN THE CROSS will feature live performances from a diverse range of Sydney acts, engaging some of Sydney’s most renowned labels and party practitioners from Astral People, Future Classic, Elefant Traks and Lovebombs to Heaps Gay, Zoo Project, We Love and T1000. The full lineup of exciting artists will be announced soon.

MEET ME IN THE CROSS is a joint initiative by Sydney’s night economy ambassadors Keep Sydney Openand Eastside Sydney, a local collective supporting creative and economic pursuits in Sydney’s inner east.

“We’re super excited to be partnering with Keep Sydney Open and the rest of the Kings Cross Precinct,” says Greg Turton of The World Bar. “A music festival is a great opportunity to highlight just some of the awesome talent that is on show every weekend in Eastside Sydney. Hopefully this will be the first of many.”

“Kings Cross is the heart and soul of Sydney nightlife. We all know it has suffered in recent times, but the truth is venues are still kicking in the Cross — you can still see great local live bands and dance to amazing music,” adds Tyson Koh, Campaign Director of Keep Sydney Open.

“ Now it’s time to support the venues and artists that make this city great in the best way possible: by having a party!”

Tickets for the entire event are now available for $30 (no booking fee) from ticketing partner Eventbrite.
