Jen Cloher, Birdz and Gretta Ziller to perform at AMP Longlist party

The 13th AMP (Australian Music Prize) holds a party on December 5 where the judges’ Longlist will be announced in full.

The free event, in partnership with Mountain Goat Beer, is at Melbourne’s National Hotel, 344 Victoria St, Richmond.

Running between 6 pm and 9 pm. it will be hosted by Brian Nankervis (Rockwiz) and Sam Lockwood from The Jezabels (The Jezabels won The AMP with their 2011 album Prisoner)

Performing live on the night are Jen Cloher, Birdz and Gretta Ziller,playing music from their 2017 Longlisted albums.

The event is also hosting guests: Remi & Sensible J

(winners of The AMP for their 2014 album Raw X Infinity), Big Scary (winner of The AMP for their 2013 album Not Art) and the 2017 Longlisted releases by The Underground Lovers, Beaches, Cable Ties and Tornado Wallace.

Dave Faulkner of Hoodoo Gurus, Chairperson of the judging panel of The 13th AMP will be there to explain how the judges form a Longlist out of 300+ eligible albums
