Alex Lahey announces new International signing and video

After a huge 2016Alex Laheyhas hit the ground running in 2017. Her lovesick anthem You Don’t Think You Like People Like People Like Me scored a place in triple j’s Hottest 100 and Lahey is now entering the studio to begin work on her debut album. In her down time Lahey is packing cases in preparation for her upcoming UK and US tours.

Today, Lahey is stoked to announce her signing to Dead Oceans (Secretly Group) for all territories outside of Australia. Lahey could not be more happy to living her dream of being singed to a fantastic indie label and still being able to release her music on her own label at home.

To celebrate the signing Lahey decided to treat fans by dropping another unique video, this time for her EP track Wes Anderson. Paying homage to the song’s titular film director, this quirky video is the brainchild of Lahey and her regular music clip collaboratorJam Nawaz (director of vids for People Like Me, Ivy League and Let’s Go Out).
