Writer and producer Jesse Porsches signs global deal with BMG

ARIA Gold-certified writer/producer Jesse Porsches has signed a worldwide music publishing deal with BMG.

After co-producing the track ‘Sleepless,’ the debut single by Grammy Award-winning Australian artist Flume, Jesse started his first duo Porsches in 2015 with Carl Fox, penning the breakthrough hit ‘Horses’. Porsches went on to tour nationally, both as a live band and as DJs, performing alongside artists including Skepta, Tkay Maidza, Booka Shade and Tensnake, as well as at festivals Splendour In The Grass and Beyond The Valley.

2017 saw the launch of his second duo, Super Cruel, a dual producer project with Adelaide’s Tigerilla. Their first release ‘November’, featuring the inimitable vocals of Lisa Mitchell, instantly gained traction across national Australian radio and international streaming services online – further reinforcing Jesse’s hit-making reputation.

More recently, Jesse has stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist in his own right, having penned label deals with Dew Process (Australia) and Astralwerks (USA) and releasing his first single ’The Weekend’.

BMG Australia Managing Director Heath Johns said, “Jesse is a dynamic and creative songwriter. His hit-making pedigree is evident in his work with Flume and his own projects Super Cruel and Jesse Porsches. BMG welcomes Jesse with open arms and open ears and we look forward to taking his new tunes to the world”.

Jesse said, “Working with the right team has always been my biggest priority! I had spoken to just about every publisher at one point or another. The team at BMG are really driven and hardworking, so I knew straight away that I needed to work with them”.

Both Jesse Porsches’ next single ‘Say It To Me’ and Super Cruel’s new single ‘Sick Laced’ are out Friday, 10 November.

Jesse Porsches joins a BMG roster of Australian talent that also includes LDRU, Peking Duk (ex. ANZ), SAFIA, Wolfmother, The Living End, Meg Mac,San Cisco, Drapht,Montaigne,Matt Corby,Tame Impala(ex. ANZ) andThe Cat Empire.
