Tania Kernaghan Joins Bus Vipers At The Top Of The Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Bus Vipers hold onto #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart, whilst Tania Kernaghan debuts at #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart.

Bus Vipers maintains #1 in the Amrap Metro Charts with ‘Palace’. Listen to the official audio for the punchy garage-pop single, as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including 96.5 Inner FM in VIC, 107.3 HFM in WA, as well as 2RRRFBi Radio97.9 Valley FM, and Yass FM in NSW. Bus Vipers recently released Federal Highway EP, was included in 2ser’s SERvin’ Up!, with the charting track receiving an inclusion in SYN’s Sweet 16, and further spins from Noosa FM in QLD, 107.3 HFM in WA, Tribe FM and PBA FM in SA, 96.5 Inner FM, OCR FM and 3Way in VIC, as well as Nambucca Valley Radio, 2RRR and Yass FM in NSW.

Debuting at #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart is Tania Kernaghan with her track ‘Onto Something’. Listen to the audio for the easy listening, country track as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including Radio Adelaide in Adelaide as well as Northside Radio and 96.5 Inner FM in NSW. ‘Onto Something’, the third single off Tania Kernaghan’s album All Australian Girl, received radio airplay from Radio Mama and Voice Of The Avon in WA, Coast FM, 5 Triple Z and Umeewarra Media in SA, 101FM, Fraser Coast FM and Ten FM in QLD, UGFM, 979fm, 3Way FM, 3WBC, 99.9 Voice FM and 3RPP in VIC and Yass FM, 2GCR, 2NVR, Northside Radio, STA FM, Hawkesbury Radio and 2AIR FM in NSW.

Georgia June enters the Amrap Metro Chart at #2 with ‘Cool’. Georgia June joined Ryan Saar on The Bridge on FBi Radio to chat about their debut single, mullets and moustaches, the video clip for the track and Georgia’s experience being mentored by Billboard Magazine. The Belligerents have held onto #4 in the Amrap Metro Chart with ‘Science Fiction’. I Heart Hiroshima appear at #5 in the Amrap Metro Chart during their second week charting with ‘Born Too Late’. The Brisbane based band performed a captivating live set on Live Delay on 4ZZZ, which is available to listen back to here. The Stress of Leisure appear at #7 in the Amrap Metro Chart, during their third consecutive week in the chart with the track ‘I Wanna Be Adult’. Pascalle and Ian from The Stress of Leisure joined Queer Radio on 4ZZZ Brisbane where they discussed their upcoming sixth album. They chatted about the origin of the album name Eruption Bounce, how perfume inspired the album artwork, and the underlying, raging hot core which forms The Stress of Leisure, which inspires their tirades against the mainstream and also hyper-consumerism. Dale Duncan enters the Amrap Regional Chart at #7 with ‘Just Like Your Dad’. The country track has earned radio airplay from stations including 101FM and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, 5 Triple Z and WOW FM in SA, Radio Mama, 107.3 HFM and Voice of the Avon in WA, The Voice of Goulburn, 2NVR, STA FM, Hawkesbury Radio and 2AIR FM in NSW, as well as UGFM, 3WAY FM, 99.9 Voice FM, 3RPC and 88.6 Plenty Valley FM in VIC.

Appearing at #8 in the Amrap Metro Chart is The Do Yo Thangs with their track ‘Those Days’. John McNamara is charting at #8 in the Amrap Regional Chart with the track ‘Under The Weight Of The Moon’. Beaches appear at #9 in the Amrap Metro Chart with ‘When You’re Gone’. Listen to the audio for the charting track as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including 107.3 HFM in WA, RTRFM in Perth, 4ZZZ in QLD, and 96.5 Inner FM3WAY FM, and Triple R in VIC. Beaches latest album Second of Spring was Album of the Week at Triple R in Melbourne, as well as 2ser’s Feature Album. ‘When You’re Gone’, the catchy psych-rock tune, has received spins from 107.3 HFM in WA, Coast FM in NSW, as well as OCR FM and 3WAY FM in VIC.

Carter and Carter debut at #9 in the Amrap Regional Chart with ‘World Full Of Angels’. Watch a live performance of the charting track as featured via Amrap Pages on station website 2MCR in NSW. The up-tempo country track, which features the duo’s signature melodies, received airplay from Radio Mama and Voice of the Avon in WA, Radio Alexandrina and 5 Triple Z in SA, 101FM, Noosa Community Radio and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, 98.9 North West FM, Triple H, 99.1 Smart FM and 3WAY FM in VIC, as well as 2CBD, The Voice of Goulburn, 2NVr, Hawkesbury Radio, 2AIR FM and STA FM in NSW.

Taking out #10 in the Amrap Metro Chart is Kellie Lloyd with the track ‘Nothing Remained’.
