Shaggy drops out of RNB Vine Days, replaced by Blackstreet

With just days to go before the inaugural RNB Vine Days winery concert series kicks off, Shaggyhasdropped out of the bill, and been replaced by Blackstreet.

His cancellation was attributed by promoters Illusive Presents and Frontier Touring to “a last minute media opportunity in the US.”

Shaggy said in a statement, “I’m disappointed to not celebrate RNB Vine Days with my fans, I love performing in Australia and hope to return soon and party old school.”

He also cancelled his headlining slot last weekend on the roots and reggae One Love festival in New Zealand.

The New York City-based Grammy-winning new jack swing quartet Blackstreet join a bill with Boyz II Men and TLC along with DJs Horizon and Yo! Mafia,

The shows at Bimbadgen Estate Wines in Pokolbin, NSW (Saturday February 3) and Rochford Wines in Yarra Valley in Victoria (Saturday February 10) have both sold out.

The other two winery dates, at Sirromet Wines | Mount Cotton, Queensland (February 4) and Leconfield Wines in Mclaren Vale, South Australia (Sunday February 11) have only limited tickets, according to promoters.
