Perth’s 93.7 announces new Music Director

Nova Entertainment has welcomed ex-SAFM Adelaide Music Director Josh McCabe into the fold.

McCabe will commence his role as Nova 93.7 Perth’s Music Director on July 14. He will work alongside Assistant Program Director Dave McClung and report to the station’s Programme Director Daniel Underhill.

“Nova 93.7 has had one of the most consistent programming teams in metropolitan radio so this has been a rare opportunity to recruit,” said Underhill. “With Josh’s skills and Dave’s experience in and knowledge of the Perth market, I’m confident Nova 93.7 will continue to be the station with the most listeners in Perth.”

Prior to his tenure with SAFM, McCabe was Music Director for B105 in Brisbane. He told TMN: “It’s really exciting to be joining Dan, Gary and the whole Nova team. I guess I’m going to need some help choosing a new footy team to follow.”

Josh replaces Claire Marshall, who left in April to take on the newly-created role of Music Marketing Director for NOVA Entertainment based in Sydney.
