Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on track for second top album

ARIA SINGLES

Sia’s The Greatest ft. Kendrick Lamar has been out for less than a week and it’s already looking for a #1 on the ARIA Singles chart. The track debuted at #25 this week and is looking more and more likely to topple The Chainsmokers’ current streak at #1 with Closer ft. Halsey.

Lady Gaga will debut high in the ARIA Singles chart with Perfect Illusion looking for a Top 10 entry. Zara Larsson’s Ain’t My Fault will hit the Top 30, currently at #32 while Guy Sebastian’s new Candle will debut in the Top 50.

ARIA Albums

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ 2013 studio attempt Push The Sky Away was their first to take #1 on the ARIA Albums chart. They could match that come Saturday’s chart with Skeleton Tree leading the race for a Top 3 entry ahead of Safia’s Internal, which is also fighting for the top spot.

Jason Aldean is on track for his highest charting album ever with They Don’t Know set to break into the Top 5. His previous charting album was 2015’s Old Boots, New Dirt which peaked at #13. Bastille’s Wild World will enter in the Top 10 and will likely beat previous peak #10 that Bad Blood took out in 2013.

Dolly Parton sees two entries set to debut with Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris’ My Dear Companion: Selections From The Trio Collection to enter in the Top 10 followed by Dolly Parton, Linda Rondstadt & Emmylou Harris’ The Complete Trio Collection in the Top 20.
