Mere Women and Gretta Ziller Climb To The Top Of The Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week Mere Women ascends to #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart, with Gretta Ziller moving into #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart.

Mere Women have taken out #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart during their third charting week with the track Eternally. Watch the official video for the punk-rock track , as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including Edge RadioHobart, Voice of the Avonand HFMin WA, FBi Radioand 2GLFin NSW, as well as Triple Rand 96.5 Inner FMin VIC. Big Skies, the Sydney act’s third LP, was PBS FM’s Feature Album of the Week and FBi Radio’s Feature Album of the Week, with Eternally also featuring on Edge Radio’s New Music List.

Gretta Ziller has moved into #1 in the Amrap Regional Charts with Slaughterhouse Blues. Watch the official video for blues-infused country single, as featured via Amrap Pages, on station websites including 4ZZZ Brisbane, FBi Radio and 2RRR in Sydney, as well as Triple R and 3WAY FM in VIC. Slaughterhouse Blues, the lead single from Gretta Ziller’s upcoming debut album, has amassed radio airplay from Fraser Coast FM and 4YOU in QLD, 5BBB and 5 Triple Z in SA, Radio Goolarri and Radio Mama in WA, 2SER, 2CHR, Bay FM, and Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW, as well as 3MBS, UGFM, 3NRG, 3OKR in VIC.

Kirin J. Callinan appears at #2 during his third Amrap Metro charting week with Bravado. Kirin sat down with Chris Berkley from Static on 2SER to discuss the album Bravado. He discusses the grandiose sentiments on the album, which are counteracted by the absurdity of other prevalent elements, how Swedish House Mafia was the sonic benchmark Callinan set for his second LP, and utilising pop devices to explore the concepts of masculinity, self, ego and sentimentality. Kelly Brouhaha appears at #3 in the Amrap Regional Charts with As Long As There’s A Smile. Kelly Brouhaha joined Jennie Lenman on Breakfast on Radio Adelaideto discuss the charting single and how she utilises positivity as a part of her creative process. Kelly also performed As Long As There’s A Smile live-to-air, which is available to listen to here . The Creases leap-frog into #4 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Is It Love. Melbourne’s Wet Lips debut at #5 in the Amrap Metro Chart with See You Later. Wet Lips, the debut self-titled LP from the 3-piece is PBS FM’s Feature Album, appears in Triple R’s Soundscapes and 4ZZZ’s Top 20, whilst the charting track See You Later also features on Edge Radio’s New Music List. Wet Lips performed the track ’ Can’t Take It Anymore’ off their debut LP, live-to-air for the Test Pattern Transmissions Series, at the Triple R Performance Space. Watch the performance here. Banoffee debuts in the Amrap Metro Chart at #6 with latest offering Ripe. The alternative pop-rock track, which is the first cut off Crepes’ upcoming debut LP, has been added to RTRFM’s Sound Selection and SYN’s Sweet 16, with additional radio support from Artsound FM in ACT, Star FM in TAS, Fraser Coast FM in QLD, HFM and Voice of the Avon in WA, Nambucca Valley Radio and Yass FM in NSW, PBS FM, 96.5 Inner FM and OCR FM in VIC, as well as Tribe FM, 5 Triple Z, PBA FM and Fleurieu FM in SA.

Lloyd Spiegel re-enters the Amrap Regional Chart, with Devil On My Shoulder taking out #7. The latest track from the Australian Blues master has earned community radio airplay from Gippsland FM in the ACT, Tjuma Pulka Media Aboriginal Corporation in WA, Fraser Coast Community Radio, Sunshine FM, and Noosa FM in QLD, 5 Triple Z, 88.9 Hills Radio, 5 Triple Z, and Radio Alexandrina in SA, 3MDR, 99.9 Voice FM, Yarra Valley FM, Southern FM, and 3WAY FM in VIC, as well as 2SEA, 2TLC, Port Stephens FM, Bay FM, 2WKT, Nambucca Valley Radio, and Ten FM in NSW.

Brisbane’s Deafcult enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #8 with Summertime. The Sea Gypsies debut in the Amrap Regional Chart at #8 with Demons. Hollow Everdaze enter at #9 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Cartoons. The charting track has earned nationwide airplay support from ArtSound in ACT, City Park Radio and Edge Radio in TAS, CAAMA and PAW Radio in NT, Phoenix Radio, Fraser Coast FM, 3MBS, and Cairns FM in QLD, Alpine Radio, 3MGB Wilderness Radio, 99.9 Voice FM, Yarra Valley FM, and SYN in VIC, Fleurieu FM, 5 Triple Z, Tribe FM, Radio Adelaide, and Coast FM in SA, Radio Goolarri, RTRFM, 6GME, 6YCR, and HFM in WA, as well as FBi Radio, Edge FM, Bay FM, 2MCE, Koori Radio, Nambucca Valley Radio, and 2AIR FM in NSW. Ziggy Ramo debuts in the Amrap Metro Chart at #10 with Same Script. Ziggy Ramo and his band ’The Love’ joined Breakfast With Caitlin on RTRFM to kick off the new segment Slightly Odway, where they performed a reinterpretation of a Tame Impala classic.
