LANKS signs to Native Tongue

PRESS RELEASE:

Native Tongue is excited to announce the signing of Melbourne songwriter and producer Will Cuming, aka LANKS.

2016 was a big year for LANKS. He secured a deal with leading international booking agents CAA and supported the likes of Ngaiire and Vera Blue. His latest EP ‘Viet Rose’ was released in October and features current single ‘Holla’, Hype Machine topping ‘Bitter Leaf’ and ‘Golden Age’. The six-track EP also features collaborations with Tom Iansek (Big Scary) and Airling.

“I’m so excited to start the next chapter in my journey as a songwriter and artist. I went to the Native Tongue writing camp late in 2016 and their culture around the making of great art was always the first priority. They were compassionate about their writers and artists and I was immersed in a group of hardworking and talented people. I knew immediately they were the right fit to go forward with.” says Will. “People sign with them and stay with them and only have positive things to say. I’m very excited to get started and grow together.”

Native Tongue’s MD, Jaime Gough added, “We’ve been big fans of Will’s music for a while now and are extremely excited about his future as a writer and producer. He’s a real talent and we look forward to playing a pivotal role in his development”

LANKS has a number of show dates over the next few months, beginning with RÜFÜS NSW tour support.

Thank you,

Hannah
