Independent Chart Wrap: Nick Murphy makes his debut

AIR Singles

A quiet Top 3 is seen onthe Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart this week as Sia’s The Greatest ft. Kendrick Lamar remains at #1 for a third week straight.

Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker) debuts at #6 with Fear Less, his debut single under his own name. Hermitude’s The Buzz sees a resurgence at #14 from #20, capping off a predominately stable week in the chart.

AIR Radio Play

It’s a similar scene on the Radio Play chart as well with Sia still holding #1 and #3 with The Greatest and Cheap Thrills respectively. Thirsty Merc sees a move to #7 from #10 with The Good Life. The group hit a full year on the chart last week with 52 weeks notched in the ’Time In’ field.

The Temper Trap re-enter at #14 with Sweet Disposition,followed by The Rubens’ Hold Me Back at #17 and Courtney Barnett’s Elevator Operator at #20.

AIR Albums

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds hold fast at #1 for another week with Skeleton Tree. Camp Cope re-enter the Top 10 at #8 from #12 with their self-titled, followed by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Push The Sky Away at #9 from #11.

The Black Sorrows debut high at #10 with The Faithful Satellite. Two more entries come at #14 and #15. First is Foxblood’s The Devil, The Dark & The Rain. It’s followed by Jordie Lane 7 The Sleepers’ GLASSELLLAND.
