Digital Chart Wrap: Aussies dominate

Charts & Music Manager

Digital Chart Wrap This week Australian artists top three of the four digital charts.Que Sera is still on top of the iTunes chart but for how long? Across all the other digital charts it is beginning its descent, dropping to #7 in the Shazam 100, #14 in the Spotify 20 and #13 in the ARIA Streaming Chart. This week also sees Nico & Vinz move to #2 with Am I Wrong, Mr Probz’s Waves moved to #3 and Milky Chance’s Stolen Dance has jumped to #4. All three tracks are performing well across the other digital charts. Topping this weeks ARIA Streaming chart is Iggy Azalea’s Fancy featuring Charlie XCX. Fancy is winning over Stolen Dance by Milky Chance as well as Ariana Grande’s Problem, which also features Azalea. The song is sharing success all over the digital charts, sitting at #12 on the Shazam 100 and topping the Spotify 20. Shazam’s latest top 100 shows that Milky Chance’s Stolen Dance is still the most Shazam’d song in the country for a second week in a row. It’s only immediate threat is Waves by Mr. Probz which has jumped from #3 to #2 this week. Milky Chance is enjoying a strong week on the digital charts with Stolen Dance sitting at #4 on the Spotify 20, #6 on the ARIA Streaming Chart and #4 on the iTunes 100. It’s been a very uneventful week for the Spotify 20. Fancy is still on top, the only important movement to be seen is Stolen Dance moving from #3 to #2, and Waves moving from #8 to #4. Vance Joy’s Riptide has made a re-entry into the chart however, placing at #20. Just last month the track took the title of The Top Streamed Local Track. Could we be seeing an even more stretched out life span for this critically acclaimed track? It’s been a very stagnant week in regards to movement in the digital charts. Aside from tracks moving up and down tiny increments, the most noteworthy movement would have to be Am I Wrong by Nico & Vinz moving from #20 to 12 in the Spotify 20 and #25 to #14 on the ARIA Streaming Chart. Pharrel Williams’ Marilyn Monroe moved from #30 to #16 and Kiesza’s Hideaway jumped from #11 to #5, both tracks on the Shazam 100.
