The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week, Sampa the Great remains at #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart, whilst Dan Parsons moves up to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart.
Appearing at #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart for the third consecutive week is Sampa the Great with the track ‘Rhymes to the East’. Sampa the Great recently joined The Breakfast Spread on PBS FM Melbourne where she discussed the creation and inspiration behind her recently released mixtape Birds And The Bee9. Jeremy Neale has held onto #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with ‘Small Talk’. Abbe May appears at #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart during her third charting week with ‘Love Decline’. The Sydney act’s new record, Rot, was featured in PBS FM’s Top Ten and also Triple R’s Soundscapes, with the ragged-rock ’Plastic Tears’ earning airplay from 2RRR in NSW, 107.3 HFM in WA, Edge Radio in Hobart as well as Three D Radio in SA.
Shane Nicholson moves into #4 in the Amrap Regional Chart with ‘Even If You Were The One’. Bleeding Knees Club enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #7 with the track ‘Case’.
