Charts & Music Manager

Hot 100 This week, The Madden Brothers take #1 with We Are Done, finally pushing Nico & Vinz out of the top spot. At #2 is Ed Sheeran’s Don’t which moved up from #3. At #3 is Paloma Faith’s Only Love Can Hurt Like This, which moved up from #14. There is a new entry into the top ten as well this week with G.R.L’s Ugly Heart jumping from #13 to #7. The top 50 is littered with high movers this week. Gabrielle Aplin’s Please Don’t Say You Love Me jumped from #63 to #18, Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass moved from #54 to #21, Katy Perry’s This Is How We Do went from #55 to #24 and Cheryl Cole ft. Tinie Tempah’s Crazy Stupid Love jumped from #97 to #47, an impressive 50 spots and this week’s most moved track. A few new debuts can be seen as well; Klingande’s Jubel entered at #38, Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz’s Prayer C came in at #43 and AJR’s I’m Ready at #46. ARIA Singles Paloma Faith’s Only Love Can Hurt Like This holds the #1 spot on the ARIA Singles chart for a second week in a row now. All of last week’s likely competition has fallen short and dropped further down the top ten, although new competition has climbed up the chart. At #2 is G.R.L’s Ugly Heart which is up from last week’s #4. At #3 is Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass which jumped from #36 and could very well be a contender for next week’s #1 if it keeps this momentum. Elsewhere in the top ten, Sam Smith’s Stay With Me moves to #8 from #13 and George Ezra’s Budapest breaks the top ten from #21 to #9. The chart also bears witness to a few high new entries this week. At #16 is Troye Sivan’s Happy Little Pill which also had a stellar week at radio (debut at #82 in its first week). Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang entered at #22 and The Script’s Superheroes came in at #25. ARIA Albums Ed Sheeran maintains his #1 this week after another solid week of sales for his latest album X(Multiply). At #2 is Frozen’s soundtrack which has stayed in the chart for a grand total of #31 weeks now. At #6 is Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour which jumped from last week’s #14 and Lily Allen’s Sheezus which jumped from #32 to #9, both no doubt benefiting from their appearances at Splendour in the Grass. At #11 is a debut from John Wiliamson’s Honest People and at #20 is a re-entry from Asgier with his album In The Silence – also no doubt reaping the benefits of his SITG performance.
