Chart Wrap: Lana Del Rey scores third consecutive #1

It’s week two at #1 for Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean? as it leads ahead of the rest of a very familiar Top 3.Felix Jaehn’s Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) featuring Jasmine Thompson takes a new peak in the Top 5 at #4 while Nelly’s The Fix re-enters the Top 10 at a new peak of #5 from #11. R City’s Locked Away featuring Adam Levine makes its Top 10 debut at #10 from #12.

Jessica Mauboy’s latest radio hit This Ain’t Love climbs into the Top 20 at #16 from #34 on its second week at radio while Jamie Lawson’s Ahead Of Myself sees a large boost in airplay pushing it to #30 from #51 with not much more dramatic movement in the chart. Pink takes the most moved title this week as Today’s The Day makes the leap from #64 to #22, a move of 42 places.

Four debuts make it into the Top 50 with the first at #37 with Ellie Goulding’s On My Mind. Joe Stone’s The Party debuts at #42 while Diplo’s Be Right There featuring Sleepy Tom and Drake’s Hotline Bling debut at #44 and #46 respectively.

ARIA Singles

Justin Bieber is also sitting pretty atop the ARIA Singles chart for a fourth week with very little movement in the Top 10 at all, the first bit of movement not happening until #6 with Felix Jaehn’s Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better) featuring Jasmine Thompson moving up from #8. OMI clocks up his second Top 10 single with Hula Hoop making the jump to #10 from #20, while Robin Schulz’s Sugar takes #11 from #31. A few noteworthy debuts take place this week on the Singles chart as well with Ellie Goulding’s On My Mind at #15, One Direction’s Infinity at #27 and Naughty Boy’s Runnin’ (Lose It All) featuring Beyonce & Arrow Benjamin at #36.

ARIA Albums

Three new album debuts dot the Top 5 on this week’s Albums chart, the first being Lana Del Rey’s Honeymoon which, following midweek predictions, debuted at #1. It becomes her third consecutive #1, following the success of Ultraviolence and Born To Die. David Gilmour’s Rattle That Lock sees his fourth solo album debut at #2 this week and marks his highest ever peak as a solo artist. At #4 with the last debut in the Top 5 is Drake & Future’s collaborative mixtape What A Time To Be Alive which earns the high entry regardless of the late release into the chart week.It marks Future’s first ever ARIA appearance and Drake’s first time back in since his #2 charting album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Another high debut comes in at #7 and #9 with Jess Glynne’s debut album I Cry When I Laugh and Ryan Adams1989 respectively. His album of 1989 covers gives Adamshis highest ever chart peak.
