Charts & Music Manager

Hot 100 This week, the Hot 100 sees a new #1 with Am I Wrong by Nico & Vinz taking the top spot. Last week it looked unclear whether or not the track would be able to crack the top two spots after landing at #3. The new #1 pushed Justice Crew’s Que Sera down to #2 and Ariana Grande’s Problem featuring Iggy Azalea back down to #3. Sam Smith’s Stay With Me remains at #4 as does Milky Chance’s Stolen Dance at #5. Elsewhere in the top 10, Zhu’s Faded continues its slow ascent up the charts, reaching a new peak at #6. The Madden Brothers make their first appearance in the top 10 this week with We Are Done jumping 21 places to #9 from #28. Sigma’s Nobody To Love also entered the top 10 after moving up one place from last week’s #11. Outside the top 10 there is plenty of high movers this week, specifically in the top 50. Ed Sheeran’s Don’t broke into the top 20, jumping from #30 to #15, Ella Hendersons Ghost just fell short of the top 20, landing at #22 from last week’s #40. Charli XCX’s Boom Clap landed at #31 after jumping from #42 and Stan Walker & Ginny Blackmore’s Holding You reached a new peak at #32, jumping from last week’s #54. The most moved track this week is Taylor Henderson’s Already Gone which moved a total of 31 places from #59 to #28. The chart also see’s some new debuts this week. First are foremost is the latest single from Sheppard: Something’s Missing. It entered at #79 and was this week’s second most added song to radio. A very strong start for the new single. Entering in at #44 is the latest Maroon 5 single Maps which was also last week’s second most added song to radio. The highest debut this week is Andy Grammers Back Home which entered at 30 after being this week’s most added song to radio as well as last week’s fourth most added song. ARIA Singles For eight weeks now, Justice Crew’s Que Sera sits at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart. It is now tied with Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know for the most weeks spent at the top of the ARIA Singles chart by an Australian act. At #2 this week is Coldplay’s A Sky Full Of Stars which is a direct result of the recent promo visit to Australia last week. After jumping #22 spots from last week, the new peak of #2 for the track is the same position the band reached with their previous hit single Viva La Vida which hit #2 in June of 2008. The Madden Brothers broke into the top 5 this week with We Are Done. It’s the duo’s first single to crack the top 5 since Good Charlotte’s single Dance Floor Anthem back in 2007. The singles chart has its fair share of high debuts as well this week with 5 Seconds Of Summer’s Amnesia entering the chart at #7 and Ed Sheeran’s Don’t entering at #9. ARIA Albums This week’s ARIA Albums chart sees a new debut take the #1 spot. Ed Sheeran’s X entered at #1 and is the third artist in three weeks to take #1 with a new debut. It’s his second album to top the ARIA chart, his first being + back in August 2012. At #2 is Coldplay’s Ghost Stories, a direct result of the promo they did last week which left a notable influence on the charts this week. Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence is still selling strong, landing at #3 this week. After entering at #1 last week it seems like this album will be sticking around the top 10 for a few more weeks to come. Aside from Ed Sheeran’s #1 with X, there are plenty of high debuts in the album chart this week. At #7 is Mastodon’s One More ‘Round The Sun’. It is the US metal band’s first album to ever crack the ARIA Top 10. At #8 is Milky Chance’s Sadnecessary which features the hit single Stolen Dance.
