This line-up adds to the previously announced Flume, Jimmy Barnes, Julia Michaels, Mick Fleetwood and Vance Joy.

The Virgin Australia partnership includes being the official airline partner as well as presenter of the ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship.

The scholarship is revealed at this year’s ARIA Masterclass, with the winner – judged by a panel of ARIA representatives and Virgin Australia – announced in January.

Danielle Keighery, Virgin Australia Group Executive Brand, Marketing and Public Affairs said “Virgin has its roots in the music industry, having launched some of the world’s biggest artists and promoted their music globally.

“Virgin Australia is proud to announce the Emerging Artist Scholarship, which is new to the ARIAs this year and will help support local talent.”

Dan Rosen, ARIA Chief Executive Officer added, “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Virgin Australian aboard for the ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship, which will support and foster Australia’s up and coming talent.

“This year’s ARIA Awards is shaping up to be a truly unique and memorable experience filled with stellar live performances, unforgettable collaborations, and special guest appearances.”

The full line-up of Australian performers are A.B. Original, Amy Shark, Dan Sultan, Daryl Braithwaite, Gang of Youths, Jessica Mauboy, Paul Kelly, Peking Duk and Pnau.

The international performers are Harry Styles and Lorde.

The ARIA Awards with Apple Music are broadcast from 7.30 pm on Nine Network.

Twitter has launched ten new custom emojis for the ARIA’s ‘Best International Artist’ nominees including: @Adele, @BrunoMars, @edsheeran, @Harry_Styles, @kendricklamar, @LORDE, @Metallica, @ShawnMendes, @RollingStones and @theweeknd.

ARIA is working with Snapchat for the second year running to curate a ’Live Story’ based on the ARIA Awards with Apple Music celebrations.

The ’Live Story’ will take place on the Red Carpet and will continue right through to the show.
