Amrap Chart Wrap: The Cactus Channel and Mallrat Move Into The Top Of The Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week, The Cactus Channel have ascended into #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart, with Mallrat rising to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart.

The Cactus Channel have moved into the #1 spot in the Amrap Metro Chart this week, with the track ‘Leech’. Watch an enthralling live-to-air performance of another track, titled ‘Storefront’, which is off The Cactus Channel’s third album Stay A While, on Triple R in Melbourne. Mallrat takes out #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart, whilst also appearing at #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with ‘Better’. Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile debut at #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with ‘Continental Breakfast’. Jess Locke moves into #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart with ‘Universe’, whilst also appearing at #6 in the Amrap Regional Chart. Jess Locke recently chatted with Breakfasters on Triple R in Melbourne, where she discussed the relief of having her debut album out in the world, being signed to Pool House Records and living with a member of The Smith Street Band, who also recorded the album. Debuting at #7 in the Amrap Metro Chart is Georgia June with the latest single ‘Broke’. Entering the Amrap Metro Chart at #10 is Jeremy Neale with ‘Small Talk’.
