Air Supply to be inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame

Over 40 million record sales, eight Top 5 Billboard singles, 18 full-length records, and now an induction into the ARIA Hall Of Fame. When people think of quintessential Australian success stories, they often unfairly skip over Air Supply. Such was the band’s impact in the States, and ubiquity during the ’80s (the group landed seven consecutive singles into the top five of the Billboard charts, and their classic All Out Of Love has been spun at US radio three million times – or for seventeen years straight) that many music fans would be unaware that the group was, in fact, Australian.

As is common with many groups that hit it big in the ’80s, the band’s output has been celebrated throughout the years with six different greatest hits collections, the latest being the Ultimate Collection which has been repackaged to highlight Air Supply’s impressive catalogue in the lead-up to the ARIA Awards.
