WAMCon 2016 speaker lineup grows to biggest yet

31 speakers have been added to WA festival and conference WAMCon, with West Australian Music (WAM) adding Skeggs’ manager Aaron Girgis,Joni Hogan(Joni In The Moon), Live Music Office’s John Wardle, plus many more.

The new inclusions join an already stacked lineup including notable names as WME booking agent Rebecca Young, Unified’s head of artist management Nick Yates and Gareth Liddiard from The Drones.

67 speakers in total have been announced for the event at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia. Over two days next month (Friday November 4 and Saturday November 5), WAMCon will feature 14 panels, a keynote from Gareth Liddiard andover 150 live performancesacross 20+ venues.

WAMCon’s Saturday Spectacular will celebrate homegrown music with a diverse range of local Western Australian talent, including Fremantle’s Hideous Sun Demon and Small Town Heroes.
