KLP, The Aston Shuffle and Dena Amy join UNDR Ctrl roster
UNDR Ctrl artists have been flourishing since it launched five years ago, and the multi-divisional company continues to grow, with three new additions.
KLP and The Aston Shuffle join for agency bookings, and Dena Amy is the second addition to its management roster alongside Bag Raiders who joined in August 2018.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be adding such high quality, prolific and industry respected artists,” founder and director Paul Stix tells TMN.
“We have been long-time admirers of all three artists, having worked with them in various capacities already through our own UNDR Ctrl events such as The Island LIVE and the Mixmag live stream series.
“So now it is very exciting to have the opportunity to work with them on a permanent basis and help take their careers to the next level.
“As we look forward to celebrating 5 years of UNDR Ctrl with a big birthday bash on August 3 [at Red Rattler], 2019 continues to be our strongest year to date with these amazing artists following Cassian, Mickey Kojak, Chase Zera and Close Counters who were all announced earlier this year.”
South African-born, Australian DJ, singer, producer, dancer and actress Dena Amy recently relocated back to Sydney from Los Angeles after recording and touring across North America for the past few years.
These included opening DJ for RÜFÜS DU SOL (she featured on their ‘Hypnotised’ track) and Hayden James.
She made her mark with club hits as the Nelson Mandela-inspired tribal ‘Jol’, Kyle Watson collaboration ‘Weaker’ and bliss-house production of London Topaz’s ‘Your Eyes’.
Amy kicked off her Winter Warmer Tour last weekend at Splendour with new recordings coming this year.
KLP, after signing her publishing to BMG is working on high-profile collaborations and multiple national tours, and left her triple j hosting gig on House Party to focus on a new album in 2019.
The Aston Shuffle’s 2019 has included ‘Stay’ on triple j full rotation, ‘Back To Me’ dropping on Idris Elba’s label and their remix of LSD (Labrinth, Sia and Diplo)’s ‘Heaven Can Wait’ generating serious streams.
They return to Belgium this weekend for Tomorrowland, before returning to Australia for Snowtunes and Grass Is Greener and back out on the club and summer festival circuit.
