Growing up in the LA gang scene, ScHoolboy Q led a tough life from an early age. At 12 he was a member of the Hoover Crips, selling drugs soon after, and by 21 was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Blank Face LP shines a light on this, the dark and gritty side of life on the streets – couple that with guests like Vince Staples, Anderson .Paak, Miguel and producer SwizzBeats, and you’ve got an ambitious hip hop album that’s impossible to ignore.
