Tick tock! Entries to the TMN Tinnies close this weekend
UPDATE: Entry deadline now extended until Sunday, November 21
You have just a matter of days to get your entries in for the music industry’s business awards, the TMN Tinnies.
This year, the awards focus on the teams – big and small – who have worked to promote Aussie music throughout another challenging year.
There are categories including Management Biz of the Year, Record Label of the Year, Live Music Biz of the Year and Music Biz Leader of the Year.
In addition, the 2021 TMN Tinnies has the new Best Response to COVID-19 award. It is open to any Australian music business that can clearly demonstrate how they have pivoted or diversified during the pandemic for the commercial or philanthropic benefit of businesses, artists and/or the wider industry.
TikTok has also partnered with TMN to create the Best Use of TikTok in Australian Music award.
Entries to the awards across the 15 categories are free and entrants can enter multiple categories. So far, entries to the TMN Tinnies have, on average, been taking under 30 minutes.
Entries have already come in from a broad cross-section of the music business including The Orchard, Yours & Owls, Unified Music Group, Lucky Ent, Mushroom Music, Wise Music, Sony Music, Select Music, SGC Media, GYROstream, Teamwrk Records and more.
Companies can self-nominate for the TMN Tinnies via the Take 2 Media Awards platform.
