Songtradr forges sync partnership with Golden Robot Records

B2B music licensing company Songtradr has announced a new partnership with global record label Golden Robot.

The newly inked agreement will see Songtradr partner with Golden Robot for sync services. The label’s catalogue includes releases from Jefferson Starship, Riley’s LA Guns, Gilby Clarke, Wildstreet, Jizzy Pearl, AshenMoon, Cicadastone, PSSR, Nick Barker, Phil X, among others.

“We align with Songtradr’s artists-first ethos, as our labels were built on the idea of creating a group of worldwide labels that assist artists and bands to reach a wider global audience, but most importantly feel part of an extended family,” Golden Robot Global Entertainment Group president Mark Alexander-Erber said in a statement.

Songtradr director of artist and label services David Sayer added: “We’re looking forward to working with the team at GRR and expanding our slate of rock ‘n’ roll.”

The partnership is just the latest in a number of announcements made by Songtradr.

Recently, the licensing company has acquired music licensing platform Pretzel, tech and data company Tunefind and music and sound design business Song Zu. Its neighbouring rights integration with music credits database Jaxsta also went live back in March.

In a similar move to today’s announcement, Songtradr also announced a sync partnership with Melbourne’s Alt. Music Group in February.
