Road To Ultra to debut Australian festival use of Scantek ID tech

Road To Ultra to debut Australian festival use of Scantek ID tech

The inaugural Road To Ultra, on Saturday February 24 at Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, says it will be the Australian festival to use Scantek ID scanning technology.

The event will be held in Melbourne: Saturday 24th February 2018, at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Scantekis an Australian owned and developed ID scanning solution used by venues to scan 4.6 million people, and most recently adopted by the Queensland Government for its Safe Night Out program.

It allows promoters in two seconds to have a record of the people who come into their venues/events.

The data is divided by name, sex, age range, entry time, operator, ID type and entry status. All customer data is erased in 28 days.

Scantek keeps track of troublemakers or those banned from precincts, prevents under-age entry and ID misuse, and allows data to be given to authorities if there’s a drama.

It also allows promoters to reward repeat customers, set up VIP lists, track changes in demographics, and their changes in marketing, music and entertainment affect their business.

Ultra promoters said, “Never before has this level of control been available and ‘Road to Ultra’ is proud to be the first festival in Australia to utilise this innovative technology.”

Road To Ultra recently revealed that the event will be captured by Rukes – the world’s #1 DJ photographer (as named by Complex).

Presented by: PSV Group Australia, in partnership with Lucky Ent / WAO, Road to Ultra also released its set-times.
