Most Added: Almost 90 stations add Selena Gomez for a clean sweep

On Monday, TMN tipped Selena Gomez’s new single ‘Back To You’ as a firm favourite for Most Added, with beaming potential for Hot 100 success. Commercial radio’s unanimous adoption of the soundtrack single confirmed these premonitions and exceeded our expectations.

85 stations added ‘Back To You’ to their playlists, including Nova, MIX, KIIS and every metro Hit station. Hit’s Regional Network and national drive also adopted the single, sealing a convincing win for the popstar.

Peking Duk was the pick of a particularly strong week at radio for Australian artists. Duel single ‘Fire’ was irresistible, garnering across the board adds from Fox FM and Hit105. Edge Radio and ACE also put their weight behind ‘Fire’.

triple j favourites The Presets and The Rubens claim #3 and #4 on the chart this week as a result of commercial radio’s (namely Ash London) extra support of both ‘Downtown Shutdown’ and ‘Never Ever’ ft. Sarah.

Despite a heap of social media outrage being hurled at Rita Ora over her new single ‘Girls’, that didn’t stop 67 stations adding the song this week.
