Midweek ARIA Predictions: The Amity Affliction on track for 3rd #1

The Chainsmokers look like they will hold their first ever #1 with Closer ft. Halsey for a second week. The first, and likely only, notable change in the Top 10 is set to be Betty Who’s I Love You Always Forever, which will debut in the top bracket.

Sucker For Pain, the collaboration between Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors, Ty Dolla $ign & Logic will move further up the Top 10 from its debut of #17 while Tove Lo’s Cool Girl is expected to debut in the Top 30. Martin Garrix will score a Top 40 debut with new single In The Name OF Love ft. Bebe Rexha.

ARIA Albums

Gympie post-hardcore stalwarts The Amity Affliction are on track for their third consecutive #1 with This Could Be Heartbreak, the follow-up to 2014’s #1 Let The Ocean Take Me. They’ve also taken #1 with Chasing Ghosts, back in 2012.

Delta Goodrem’s Wings Of The Wild will be the first of the Top 10 movers, currently at #11. Meghan Trainor’s Thank You will move into the bracket from #19 while Hilltop Hoods’ Drinking From The Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung will move to the Top 10 from #29.

Partynextdoor’s Partynextdoor 3 will debut in the Top 20 while the high-debuting heavy music trend will continue with Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain & Fit For An Autopsy’s The Depression Sessions, set to debut in the Top 30.
