Delta Goodrem to host Nickelodeon’s Slimefest

Nickelodeon’s SLIMEFEST 2016 is bigger and better than ever with singer songwriter DELTA GOODREM announced to host the slimiest event on the planet! Delta is no stranger to slime, having graced the Nickelodeon stage as host of the 2007 Australian Kids’ Choice Awards.
“I’m so excited to be amongst the craziness and green goo that is SLIMEFEST! It’s great to be back on-stage with Nickelodeon at such a fun event, which brings kids and families together and makes everyone happy!” said Delta.
As well as hosting the Melbourne and Sydney shows, SLIMEFEST-ers will also get to see Delta perform two of her top hits. Tickets are on-sale now via SLIMEFEST.COM.AU from $55.
Since the release of her debut album in 2003, Delta has gone on to amass seventeen top ten singles, fourteen ARIA Awards, a Silver Logie Award, three World Music Awards and album sales in excess of 23 times platinum. Delta’s fifth studio album, Wings Of The Wild, debuted at #1 in Australia. She has also announced her highly anticipated national Wings of the Wild tour that will take place in October/November this year.
Joining Delta at SLIMEFEST is international headliner OMI, Australia’s hottest export HAVANA BROWN, the newly reformed G.R.L., boy band IN STEREO, DJs MASHD N KUTCHER and U.S. YouTubers KIAN & JC.
Now in its fifth year, Nickelodeon’s SLIMEFEST is the only family-friendly music festival of its kind in Australia, featuring live performances, crazy stunts and tonnes of Nickelodeon’s trademark green slime. SLIMEFEST will be heading to Melbourne on Sunday, 25th September for two shows – 11am and 6pm and Sydney on Friday, 30th September for two shows – 11am and 6pm. The event will also include an outdoor carnival experience before and after the show, featuring rides, games and merchandise available to purchase.

To produce SLIMEFEST, Nickelodeon partners with Nice Events, who specialise in family and youth entertainment.
The SLIMEFEST 90 minute special will air exclusively on Nickelodeon on Friday, 30th September at 6pm.
