Camp Cope and Heaps Good Friends appear at the top of the community radio charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week, Camp Cope move into #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart, with Heaps Good Friends rising into #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart.

Camp Cope have ascended into #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with latest offering ‘The Opener’. Thommo from Camp Cope dropped by The Breakfast Spread on PBS FMin their hometown of Melbourne to chat about the charting track, and announce their upcoming record How To Socialize and Make Friends. Thommo takes the time to chat about launching this song at the Sydney Opera House and also reflect on their previous self-titled album. Dan Parsons appears at #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart this week with ‘Here Goes Nothin’’. A. Swayze & the Ghosts have re-entered the Amrap Metro Chart at #3 with the track ‘Smooth Sailing’. Ben and Andrew from A. Swayze & the Ghosts joined The Breakfast Spread on PBS FM Melbourne where they chatted about recovering from their EP launch the previous evening, their self-titled debut release, and the benefits of getting all four tracks mixed by four different engineers. The band also discussed their raucous live shows and testing their limits at festival shows. Liam Kennedy-Clark enters the Amrap Regional Chart at #5 with ‘Smile Like That’. Big White have held onto #6 in the Amrap Metro Chart with their tune ‘On and On’. Flash back to early 2016, where Big White performed a cracking live version of their single ‘Down On The Beach’ during Mornings on FBi Radio in Sydney, where they also chatted about American fast food and playing live. West Thebarton debut at #7 in the Amrap Metro Chart with their latest offering ‘Bible Camp’. The Sydney based four-piece’s new record, Rot, was included in Triple R’s Soundscapes and also PBS FM’s Top Ten. The charting track features in FBi Radio’s New Music List, as well as receiving spins from Edge Radio in Hobart, 107.3 HFM and Noongar Radio in WA, PBA FM, Rox FM and Three D Radio in SA, Yass FM, SWRFM 99.9, Sapphire FM and 2RRR in NSW, as well as 3WBC, 3MDR, Inner FM, 3WAY-FM, Southern FM, 99.9 Voice FM, OCR FM and 3NRG in VIC.

Paul Kelly is charting at #9 during his seventh consecutive appearance in the Amrap Regional Chart with latest single ‘Rising Moon’.
