AU Singles Report: Ed Sheeran tops Artist Top 50, Slumberjack poised to debut on Hot 100

Ed Sheeran has managed to mirror the success he saw on the Most Added chart in the Artist Top 50 this week. Taking both #1 and #2 are his new tracks Castle On The Hill and Shape Of You. This puts Sheeran in a surprisingly strong position for success in the Mid Year and Year End charts if these tracks are to show the usual chart longevity that Ed Sheeran’s hits so often get.

Floating just outside of the Hot 100 is Slumberjack’s powerful new single Fracture ft. Vera Blue. At #1 on the Breakers chart, it’s looking very likely that the track will debut next week, considering it’s also #1 on triple j’s Spins Chart. Sia is this week’s #1 Hot 100 Heatseeker as her track Move Your Body cracks #23 from #67 on the Hot 100, an impressive rise of 44 places.

Young Franco’s Miss You is shaping up to be his biggest hit to date, taking the #1 Single To Radio. The track follows the mammoth success of Drop Your Love ft. Dirty Radio, the song that threw him into the peripheral vision of genre heavyweights RUFUS, Flight Facilities and Hayden James.

The Chainsmokers add yet another #1 Most Added to their collection this week as new single Paris dominates last week’s radio additions. Ticking off almost every major station, the track saw across the board additions from the Nova Network, Hit Regional Network, Ash London Live and both KIIS stations.
