Arts Victoria VicArts Grants opens today

Got a great music project that needs a funding boost? The next round of Arts VictoriaVicArts Grantsopens 5thFebruary 2015. The VicArts Grants program invests in the creative endeavours and professional practice of Victoria’s artists and smaller arts companies.

VicArts Grants will support projects and programs that:

• Create new works across all forms of contemporary art, music, literature and performance.
• Present original performance, literary works, recordings or exhibitions that engage Victorian audiences and/or reach new audiences nationally and internationally.
• Build the sustainability and financial viability of an artist’s or arts organisation's professional practice.
• Engage in partnerships or collaborations with Victorian industries, organisations or communities.

Applications close at5pm Wednesday 25thFebruary 2015for projects commencing after 1stJune 2015.

Applications will be accepted online using theArts Victoria Grants Portalfrom Thursday 5thFebruary 2014. VicArts Grants applicants can begin working on their applications at any time by downloading the necessary templates (go toVicArts Grants – How to Apply) which replicates the information you will be asked to enter in the Grants Portal.
