ARIA Midweek Chart Predictions – Feb 18

It appears that FourFiveSeconds’ time at the top may be over come next week’s chart with a fair few contenders stepping up for #1;the main contender isEllie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do, which is expected to hit the Top 3 at the very least. Another track hot on its heels is Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars; it’ssitting currently at #2 though it has a chance of hitting #1 again. Looking to hit the Top 10 next week is Maroon 5’s Sugar which is set to break the bracket after just five weeks in the chart. Two other notable movers to watch are The Weeknd with Earned It hitting the Top 15 and SamSmith’s I’m Not The Only One. Florence + The Machine’s What Kind Of Man is looking for a Top 20 debut, as is Jessie J’s Masterpiece.

Next week’s top debut on the Albums chart is likely to come from Imagine Dragons’ Smoke + Mirrors, which is set for a Top 3 entry at the very least. Also debuting strong will be Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which is impressive considering the surprise release with no warning. The next highest debutisn’t till the Top 30 with Ne-Yo’s Non-Fiction. Movement-wise, expect George Ezra’s Wanted On Voyage to break the Top 10 once more, no doubt partly attributed to the success of his most recent single Listen To The Man. Set to break back into the Top 20is Angus & Julia Stone’s self-titled album, no doubt picking up the pace off the back of their current Australian tour. The last noteworthy expected movement takes place in the form of Selected Works:1972-1999 by The Eagles, definitely due to their current tour across the country.
