Amrap Chart Wrap: Xylouris White and The Black Sorrows Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Xylouris White and The Black Sorrows take the top spots.
Xylouris White has held onto #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Black Peak having picked up Feature Album at PBS FM and a spot in fellow Melbourne station Triple R’s Soundscape. The duo hit up PBS FM Melbourne earlier this year to play a live set as part of Studio 5 Live on The Breakfast Spread. Listen back here.
The Black Sorrows have moved up to #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Fix my Bail. Watch the video clip as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including 2MCE in NSW, Hills Radio in SA, Rainbow FM in QLD, and Inner FM and3WAY FM in VIC.
Den have risen to #2 in the Amrap Metro Charts with Current Riser, having picked up spots in their hometown station FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list and RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection. The single has racked airplay up all over at stations including Heritage FM in WA, RTR FM Perth, City Park Radio and Edge Radio in TAS, Fraser Coast FM and Valley FM in QLD, Voice FM, 3OCR and 3MDR in VIC, PBA FM, Alex FM, Fleurieu FM and 5 Triple Z in SA, as well as 2MIA, 2SEA, Yass FM and Vox FM in NSW.
Dan Sultan enters the Amrap Regional Chart at #2 with Magnetic having racked up airplay at stations across the country including Radio Mama in WA, Star FM in TAS, Umeewarra Media, Tribe FM and Alex FM in SA, Valley FM, 4YOU, Coast FM, Noosa FM and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, 2RRR, Eastside Radio, 2EAR, 2HHH, TLC FM, 2CHR and Northside Radio in NSW, as well as Casey Radio, 3WBC, 979 FM, Inner FM, Sunraysia Community Radio, Radio Murrindindi, 3MGB, WMA FM, North West FM, and 3WBC in VIC.
DZ Deathrays take out #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Pollyanna having picked up a spot in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20. Fiona Boyes slides into the Amrap Regional Chart at #4 with Devil you Know, also taking #10 with Love me all the Way. Sydney maestro Donny Benet has held onto #5 in the Amrap Metro Chart, also taking #8 in the Regional stakes withWorking Out, having picked up a spot on FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list.
