Amrap Chart Wrap: King Gizz & Jesse Redwing Top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard andJesse Redwing take the top spots.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard take #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart in their third charting week with People-Vultures, having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16, RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection, as well as FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. Major Leagues take #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Someone Sometime having picked up spots in RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection, 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and Three D Radio Adelaide’s Top 20+1. Emily Wurramara is still going strong in the Amrap Regional Chart, taking #2 with Ngerraberrakernama. The track has amassed airplay in every state and territory at stations including Yolngu Radio in NT, Fraser Coast FM in QLD, Edge Radio Hobart, ArtSound FM Canberra, King Island Community Radio in TAS, as well as Inner FM, 3RPC and 3MGB in VIC, Tjuma Pulka FM, 6DBY and Voice of Avon in WA, Three D Radio, PBA FM, Fleurieu FM, Alex FM, 5GTR and 5CST in SA, and Bay FM, Radio Dungog, Norfolk Island Radio, Eastside Radio, 2AIR FM, Wagga’s Life FM, 2SEA, Nambucca Valley Radio and Radio Blue Mountains in NSW.
Sahara Beck has ascended to #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Spinning Time, having picked up a spot in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 new music list. Beckrecently dropped by her hometown station 4ZZZ Brisbane for a catch up with Remy and Clare on Girls can Tell. Listen back here.
Caravana Sun take #3 in their third week in the Amrap Regional Chart with Eye of the Storm. The track has amassed airplay across the country at stations including Hills Radio and 5GTR FM in SA, Larrkardi Radio, Bunbury Community Radio and RTR FM in WA, Noosa Community Radio, 4ZZZ and Coast FM in QLD, 2BOB, Bay FM, 2MIA, 2MCR, 2MCE and Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW, as well as 3NRG, 979 FM, North West FM, 3WBC and Yarra Valley FM in VIC.
Gregor take #4 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Remorse having racked up airplay at stations including Noongar Radio in WA, Coast FM and 5GTR in SA, Fraser Coast FM and Valley FM in QLD, 3WBC, Inner FM, Voice FM and Southern FM in VIC, as well as 2TLC, 2RDJ and Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW.
Jimmy Marin takes #4 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Along the Way. Oh Pep! have also held onto #5 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Doctor Doctor. Dave Arden has entered the Amrap Regional Chart at #6 with I Close my Eyes having picked up airplay all over at stations including Gin Gin’s Own in QLD, Larrkardi Radio and KCR FM in WA, Umeewarra Media and Tribe FM in SA, 2MCR, Northside Radio, Radio Blue Mountains and 2AIR FM in NSW, as well as WMA FM, North West FM, Voice FM, 3MGB, NRG FM and 3WAY FM in VIC.
Brisbane’s Marville debut at #7 in the Amrap Metro Chart with 9-Iron having featured in their hometown station 4ZZZ’s Top 20 new music list. Listen to their interview on The J Spot on the same station here.

Client Liaison take #8 in the Amrap Regional Chart, also taking #10 in the Metro Chart with World of our Love. The track has picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list, and received additional airplay at stations including King Island Community Radio in TAS, 2XX Canberra, Noongar Radio in WA, Hills Radio, 5GTR, Coast FM and Triple Z in SA, 2NVR, 2RRR, FBi Radio, 2BACR, Bay FM, 2SEA and Macarthur Community Radio in NSW, as well as 3MGB, North West FM, Hot FM, Inner FM, Mitchell Community Radio and SYN in VIC.
