Amrap Chart Wrap: Holy Balm and Sal Kimber & the Rollin’ Wheel Hold onto Top Spots

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Holy Balmand Sal Kimber & the Rollin’ Wheel hold onto the top spots.
Holy Balm have held onto #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Clandestine off their new record Activity, having picked up spots in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20, Triple R Melbourne’s Soundscape, 2SER Sydney’s SERvin Up! and FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. Sal Kimber & the Rollin’ Wheel have held onto the top position in the Amrap Regional Chart with Come a Knockin’ having racked up airplay across the country at stations including City Park Radio in TAS, 5 Triple Z in SA, Coast FM in QLD, Albany Community Radio in WA, 3MGB, 3RPC, and Voice FM in VIC, as well as 2SEA, Coast FM, Vox FM, Eastside Radio, TLC-FM and 2AIR FM in NSW. Christopher Port has climbed to #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Heavens having picked up FBi Click’s Album of the Week spot and positions in PBS FM and Triple R Melbourne’s Top 10 and Soundscape new music lists. Bernard Fanning has risen to #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart in his sixth charting week with Wasting Time. The Melbourne band’s latest dub-reggae exploration has picked up a spot in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20. The Preatures enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #4 with I Know a Girl having picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. The single has picked up airplay across the country at stations including Fraser Coast FM in QLD, Alex FM in SA, Tjuma Pulka FM and Noongar Radio in WA, Hot FM, UG FM and 3WBC in VIC, as well as Port Stephens FM, 2SWR, 2SSR, 2MCR and 2RRR in NSW.

Ali E takes #8 in both the Metro and Regional Charts with Two by One. The Mouldy Lovers take #9 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Civilized Crossfire. The Brisbane eight-piece have also racked up airplay in every state and territory at stations including 2XX Canberra, PAW Radio in NT, Edge Radio Hobart, Twin Cities Radio in WA, WOW FM in SA, Switch FM in QLD, 3NRG and Gippsland FM in VIC, as well as Hawkesbury Radio and 2BOB in NSW.
Colin Jones & the Delta Revue take #9 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Mama don’t Weep. The delta blues tune has picked up widespread airplay at stations including ArtSound FM Canberra, 2MCE in NSW, City Park Radio in TAS, Burnett River Radio in QLD, Hills Radio in SA, Eastern FM in VIC and KCR FM and Harvey Community Radio in WA.
