The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees female solo artists take the top spots in the community radio charts.
Emily Wurramara has climbed to #1 on the Amrap Regional Chart with Ngerraberrakernama. The track has amassed airplay in every state and territory at stations including Yolngu Radio in NT, FBi Radio Sydney, Triple R Melbourne, Fraser Coast FM in QLD, Edge Radio Hobart, 4ZZZ Brisbane, ArtSound FM Canberra, King Island Community Radio in TAS, as well as Inner FM, 3RPC and 3MGB in VIC, Tjuma Pulka FM, 6DBY and Voice of Avon in WA, Three D Radio, PBA FM, Fleurieu FM, Alex FM, 5GTR and 5CST in SA, and Bay FM, Radio Dungog, Norfolk Island Radio, Eastside Radio, 2AIR FM, Wagga’s Life FM, 2SEA, Nambucca Valley Radio and Radio Blue Mountains in NSW.
Summer Flake continues her strong run in the Amrap Metro Chart, taking #1 for the third week running with Wine Won’t Wash Away. Her new recordHello Friends has picked up Album of the Week on FBi Radio and 2ser Sydney, Radio Adelaide, PBS FM Melbourne, RTR FM Perth and Edge Radio Hobart. Caravana Sun take #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Eye of the Storm. Major Leagues take #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Someone Sometimes having picked up spots in RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection, 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and Three D Radio Adelaide’s Top 20+1.
