With BIGSOUND 2019 less than a week away, UNIFIED’s roster of up-and-coming artists are preparing to showcase their talents at the company’s first official BIGSOUND Party.

Showcasing talent from UNIFIED Music Group and Lonely Lands Agency, the party will go down on Thursday, September 5 at Ric’s Big Backyard.

The lineup features Lonely Lands booked artist Tones and I, up-and-coming singer-songwriter Jack Botts (distributed via UNIFIED Label services) and UNIFIED Artist Management clients Mojo Juju and Stellie.

Adelaide native Stellie recently released her first official single ‘Love Me First’ and has just been announced to support G-Flip and Didirri.

“We’re very excited to be hosting our first official party at Bigsound this year,” says Ash Hills, co-manager of UNIFIED Music Group’s Artist Management division and manager for Stellie.

“We have so much talent showcasing this year and it’s great for us to be able to give new and emerging artists a platform outside of their official Bigsound showcases.

Stellie will be joined by Tones and I, Mojo Juju and Jack Botts at UNIFIED’s BIGSOUND Party.

“On a personal level, I can’t wait for everyone at Bigsound to see Stellie perform. For someone who has only been making music for a year, she is so confident on stage and a mega talent with lots of stories to tell,” adds Hills.

Ahead of her performance, Stellie says she’s “a mixed bag of emotions.”

It will be the first time she’s played outside Adelaide, an experience she says is “surreal” to think about.

“My show will be far from perfect, but perfect is boring so I’m okay with that,” she tells TMN.

“There are quite a few ‘intimate’ and ‘vulnerable’ moments throughout my show too. My aim is to keep people on their toes – just when the audience think they know who ‘Stellie’ is.

“I want to change their mind.”

Looking at BIGSOUND as a whole, Stellie believes the showcase is a perfect way “for emerging artists from across Australia to showcase their talent on a larger scale.

“Not only this, but it’s such a great learning tool for artists to grasp a better insight into the confusing and daunting world of the music industry.

“It’s also the best way to network with other musicians and make long-lasting connections with people who share similar interests,” she adds.

Lonely lands Agency launched earlier in 2019 and is a venture between Tash Sultana and her managers Regan Lethbridge and UNIFIED Music Group founder, Jaddan Comerford.

Comerford couldn’t be more pleased with how the agency has progressed.

“Lonely Lands is off to a great start since launching in May. Splendour in the Grass was a real moment seeing Tones and I, Ocean, Alley, Ziggy Alberts and Trophy Eyes play to huge audiences across the weekend,” he tells TMN.

“Harry and the team are doing great work and are immediately delivering for our clients not just in Australia and New Zealand, but across the entire Asia Pacific region.”
