Troye Sivan’s ‘Bloom’ debuts in Top 5 position on US chart
Troy Sivan’s Bloom album debuted at #4 in the US – his best chart effort there so far.
Bloom shifted 72,000 units in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. Of this figure, 59,000 were in traditional album sales.
Billboard noted that his debut album Blue Neighbourhood (2015) moved 55,000 units in its first week, and peaked at #7.
Two EPs, Wild (2015) and TRXYE (2014) earlier both peaked at #5.
Sivan is this week preparing to go on the road in North America later this month.
A 26-date headlining run of mostly theatres begins on September 21 in Texas and wraps up in Vancouver on November 8.
Los Angeles-based German pop singer Kim Petras is the opening act for the entire tour, with LA singer-songwriter Leland and new teen pop sensation Carlie Hanson joining in on select dates.
