Keen for a great week of music to be spun via triple j? Maddy Jane, Tkay Maidza, and Charli XCX steal the spotlight in a stacked week of additions.

No matter your music taste, triple j delivers hit after hit of both Aussie and international artists on their station. In need of some new listening material? With all sorts of options on the table, and seeing as they’re constantly adding new tunes to the mix, this week’s additions to triple j will see you finding something you’ll love.

Last week saw Paramore’s frontwoman Hayley Williams taking the shining spot as the feature album with her long-awaited solo debut Petals For Armor. This week, Australia’s own Maddy Jane earns the slot of feature album.

Her debut album, Not All Bad Or Good was only released at the beginning of this month, and has already gained heaps of traction across the country, featuring plenty of goodness in tow.

triple j has gone to describe this album as highlighting her “distinct brand of cathartic, confessional indie rock,” showcasing all the hard work she’s put in “since our introduction to her five years ago.” Between “life’s highs and lows,” Maddy Jane shows “a little slice of real life” with her “wisdom and honesty.”

In addition to the stylings of Maddy Jane, a superb collection of tracks are up for listening this week with Tkay Maidza, Charli XCX, Alex The Astronaut, and Taka Perry all gaining themselves a spot on high rotation at triple j.

There’s all sorts of Aussie talent this week, but to round out the mix American rapper Jack Harlow’s hit ‘WHATS POPPIN’ grabs a spot, as well as British pop-punk band Boston Manor making ‘Plasticine Dreams’ heard loud and clear.

As usual, triple j knows their music, and our iso blues are sure to feel just a little bit better when listening to this weeks stacked list of additions. Keen to see the rest of the list? Keep-a-scrollin’!
