TMRW Music announces new sub-label Risqué Music, first release by Deutsch Duke

Indie label TMRW Music Group has announced the addition of sub-labelRisqué Music to itsfamily.

Risqué will play home to a new faction of artists who currently sit outside TMRW’s label group, which includes sister label etcetc.

DeutschDuke, aka Dennis Dowlut,has also been announced as the first artist to release music on the new label, leading the way forRisqué which will focus on urban flavoured electronic music.

Duke’s forthcoming track ‘So Real’ is out this Friday March 16, and will be followed by a mixtape, set to drop midway through the year.

The track brings togetherDeutsch Duke’s vocal skill and atmospheric, electronic production. His voice has previously featured on songs by Set Mo, MUTO and Flight Facilities.

“As Dennis’ publisher I knew there was a tonne of incredible music of his that needed to be out there in the world and I’m extremely glad that we were able to provide that vehicle for him,” A&R manager Simon Lewicki told TMN.

“For me, Deutsch Duke is theperfect first release thatsets the tone for the label andhopefully broadcasts agreat message to other artists.”

Dukebe joined onRisqué by Melbourne artist Charlz – who’s debut release onRisqué is ‘Colors’ (produced by Grammy winner M-Phazes), as well as urban/electro duo Pony which includes Thom Crawford and producer/instrumentalist Matt Sofo.

“As the TMRW Music Group expands and matures, we are discovering more and more great music,” said TMRW Music CEO Tim McGee.

“The etcetc label has enjoyed huge success lately including an ARIA Award win for PNAU and The Music Network’s Indie Label of the Year, and we are excited to launch a new label with a more urban/electronic sound as we widen and diversify the scope of artists across the TMRW Music family.”

“Risqué is an artist-led label that strives to cater for listeners who lean into artists’ catalogues and careers and not just focus on the bangers of the week,” added Lewicki.

“Risqué is the home for good music – international sounds that live in our headphones, playlists and house parties.”
