Sony Music’s Chairman and CEO Australia and NZ and President Asia, Denis Handlin AM, says of the appointment: “I am delighted to have an executive of Tim’s calibre returning to Sony Music where I know he will have a profound impact on the exciting opportunities that we are be developing.  Tim has a great passion and instinct for music and has tremendous respect in the industry locally and internationally.”

Kelly adds: “I am thrilled to be rejoining Sony Music.  I’d like to thank Denis Handlin for his belief in me and can’t wait to work with him and the entire team at Sony”.

In addition to this appointment, SME has promoted John Parker to a new role which will involve him overseeing the label’s Artist Touring division. He takes the title General Manager, Marketing & Promotions and Artists Touring Division Australia & New Zealand.
