They know better: Screaming Jets raising money for Support Act Ltd with auction

Two members of veteran hard rock band The Screaming Jets have launched a fundraising campaign for Support Act Ltd.

Guitarist Scott Kingman is putting up for auction intimate portrait photos of the band’s co-founder and singer Dave Gleeson (who also these days fronts The Angels).

The auction closes on Monday April 30, with more info here.

Kingman, who runs his own company Scott Kingman Photography, has in the past ten years since he joined the Screaming Jets, posted a limited amount of photos of the Jets in action on both his and the band’s social media platforms.

For the Support Act Ltd campaign, he has handpicked four Gleeson portraits.

Only 10 prints of each image will be produced.

A total of 40 framed and mounted portraits, personally signed by Gleeson and Kingman, individually numbered and lovingly framed and mounted by the photographer himself. (Kingman has a carpentry qualification also!).

Each is  accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity confirming the offering is official Screaming Jets merchandise, commissioned exclusively by the band.

These images will deleted after the auction is closed.

Outside Kingman’s role as guitarist and producer, he has also focussed on his lifelong and self-taught passion for photography.

From his seaside base in Victoria’s East Gippsland region, he has landscapes, character (human and animal) and nature shots have seen him win a number of online International awards.

In the latest, he ranked in the top 30 out of over 200,000+ entrants in a National Geographic photo competition in 2017.
