The Push releases program for inaugural Music Careers Expo

Victorian youth music organisation The Push has announced the program for this month’s inaugural Music Careers Expo.

Coinciding with Victorian Youth Week (26 June – 2 July) and delivered as part of the Victorian Government’s FReeZA Support Service, the expo will be held at The Push HQ in Collingwood Yards on Tuesday June 29, and will be free for all high school-aged students to attend.

Attendees will be able to gain insights and information on career pathways in the Australian music industry through discussions and listening sessions with artists such as Alex Lahey and Japanese Wallpaper, with the expo also featuring hands-on Ableton workshops, resume writing classes and more.

Participants will also be able to connect with one another and engage in networking sessions with education and training providers such as the Australian Institute of Music (AIM), Collarts, JMC Academy, Box Hill Institute and RMIT University.

Participants can register their attendance for The Push’s Music Careers Expo for free through its website.
