The Grove Studios announce open day

PRESS RELEASE:

The Grove Studios, Australia’s most unique classroom, is taking enrolments now for the next Diploma of Sound Production – with an Open Day at their picturesque studios (Mangrove Rd, Somersby) to be held on Saturday November 19 for prospective students wanting more information or a first hand tour of the studios and specially created classroom.

The Diploma of Sound Production course is run in partnership with Hunter TAFE’s Regional Music Institute. The course is taught within the iconic studio complex with state of the art technology and also vintage equipment and is open to anyone interested in a career in sound.

The popular course will provide students with an in depth knowledge of everything they need to know about studio and live sound production, in the active working environment of a professional working studio.

Students will learn analogue and digital recording, live PA, post production, music editing, location recording, mixing and pro tools. The Grove Studios, located just 30 min north of Sydney on the Central Coast at Somersby, is a professional working studio whose musical recording alumni include Courtney Barnett, Alison Wonderland, Daniel Johns, Sarah Blasko and Birds of Tokyo.
