TEG appoints former Ticketek Managing Director to Asia division
Ticketing, live entertainment and data analytics company TEG has appointed Brendon Bainbridge as Managing Director of the new division, TEG Asia.
After 11 years as Managing Director of Ticketek New Zealand, Bainbridge will relocate to TEG Asia’s Singapore base later this year to manage all TEG operations inthe region.
Bainbridge’s 16 years of international business experience has included stints at Marriott Hotels in the US in senior sales, marketing and revenue management roles.
“Brendon has done a fabulous job running Ticketek New Zealand, he knows the sports and entertainment industry inside out and he gets what TEG’s strategy is all about,” said,Geoff Jones, TEG CEO.
“He has the leadership and vision to make TEG Asia a big growth story for the company. I am delighted to make this appointment of a trusted and long-standing colleague.”
TEG’s interest in the region has expanded in recent times. The company acquired 100% of TicketCharge, Malaysia’s leading ticketing company, with further business interests soon to be announced in the region.
On his appointment, Bainbridge believes TEG can make an impact in the territory, pointing to the company’s knowledge and well-established technology platforms as keysuccess factors.

Taking over from Bainbridge as Managing Director Ticketek New Zealand is Trina Tamati. She has more than two decades of marketing, commercial and event director experience in New Zealand, the UK, Europe and Australia, including the role of CEO of the NRL Auckland Nines rugby league tournament.
Tamati has received multiple awards during her professional career including 2014 Maori Sports Administrator of the Year, the 2015 NZ Event Professional of the Year and the 2016 Next Women of the Year, Sport.
